A thriller centered on two archaeologists in search of a lost treasure in the catacombs below Paris.

Kinda reminds me of "Descent" which I thought was decent for a horror movie. It's tough to do any film in this genre simply due to the fact that it relies on a certain level of stupidity to succeed. IMO anyway Smile

The trailer is well constructed but it just seems a rehashed concept, group goes explorer some unknown ruins and somehow finds itself living their own personal hell.

Hehe Pumpy. You're right actually. I so rarely watch horror movies these days (since most just don't seem to be worth a watch anymore) that it has really been a long time since I last saw one and forgot about the others you mentioned.

Event Horizon scared the shit outta me the first few times I saw it. I remember it being on cable many years ago and I would literally change the channel back and forth hehe. Same goes with some video games though. I can really immerse myself in the world sometimes and really feel like I'm there.
