Talking about a build in my sig.
I am running that 2500k on 4.6 with +0.015v offset.
I am getting occasional (very rare) bsod and I am just increasing offset by 1 step.

But I've noticed that my vram voltage is set to auto, which detects it as 1.59v. And it is rated as 1.50v.
The ram is 2x4gb kingston hyperx blu 1333mhz.

I don't thing ram voltage should be incresed when overclocking sb right ?
I should just change it to 1.500v ?

Doesn't really matter, basicly any memory will run at 1.65V without an issues (Some memory come rated with that).

But yeah, you can set it at 1.5V if that is what you wish but it should't affect anything.

Then again, it shouldn't increase by itself either. Have you used a XMP Profile for the RAM? Should help keep the voltage at bay.

Your BSODs are coming because the CPU clock isnt completely stable, also on those el cheapo Assrock mobos offset doesnt really work that good (you need to play with the LLC setting to get most optimal settings for vcore which compensates vdrop).

bsod's are very rare. I've incresed offset a lil bit again and it is stable as of yet.

@Stige XMP profile ?

It's something like a saved overclock setting for the memory or something, basicly run faster than it should.
I'm bad at explaining dat shit Very Happy

Basicly you should always use the XMP Profile unless you plan on overclocking the memory by hand.
