Quote:
Jaxson Denno, who is 18 months old, is a huge Iron Man fan. So when his parents found out Iron Man himself Robert Downey Jr. was nearby shooting a movie, they arranged the meeting of a lifetime.

Like only an 18 month year-old could, though, Denno burst into tears when introduced to Tony Stark, because...he wasn't in the suit. No suit = no Iron Man for a tiny human. Cue the tears, and the amazing photo up top.

The story ends on a brighter note, though; seems once Downey Jr. started talking, Denno recognised the voice, and all was well.

18 month and he already knows Iron Man? wtf.

"Enlightenment is man's emergence from his self-imposed nonage. Nonage is the inability to use one's own understanding without another's guidance. This nonage is self-imposed if its cause lies not in lack of understanding but in indecision and lack of courage to use one's own mind without another's guidance. Dare to know! (Sapere aude.) "Have the courage to use your own understanding," is therefore the motto of the enlightenment."

Daaaaw. That completely lost expression on his face is priceless. Glad to hear it ended well. I always feel incredibly bad when I see a kid crying about something that was only intended to make them happy. Hate to see them pumped up on expectation only to see it squashed.

Kids that age shouldn't be allowed to meet anyone, they just cry all the time.

Poor Robert, that little brat destroyed all of his self esteem. I'm glad it all ended well and Downey Jr. regained his charm and temper.
