Im amazed how kids these days lack so much insight, one of my best friends has a small brother around 17 i think, we live side by side in the same floor and building, their family has a nice life, everything solved in his life. We are middle class and they had more than me, so they were doing good.
Well in the news some kid was killed some nights ago when comming out of school. I had known about some of the kids who live in my residential were doing drug deals and stuff, we all knew who they were. Well now my friend's bro is facing jail along with the known criminal kids we had here..., according to the police and comments he was driving the car that was used for the shoot and drive, his father started lending him the car to visit his girlfriend some weeks ago it seems and look at this. Some say he was threatened to drive them there, but i bet he just wanted to hang out with them and then got pushed into the mess. Now his and her family's life is mangled.
And i saw this kid everyday, he was pretty calm, the usual teenager wannabe cool way but this? involving himself in drug dealer problems? Those bad kids didnt have the chances he had in life and now....? wow...
Funny thing is the known criminal kids have been released, but not him, he was driving, and the shooter is at large. The worst get released, the unlucky one gets jail.

Parents didnt do a great job I guess at explaining the world to him as he was growing up... teenagers will be teenagers but if you got no savy or ounce of whats wrong or right you will make major fuck ups in life..
Parents need to be much more strict in bringing up kids... harsh reality needs to be taught to kids early on.

He's young. A criminal charge isn't the end of the world. Sometimes it's a rude awaking.

Oh man i cant even imagine living like that. The price to pay, oh well. It depends, over here political and media pressure is very efective, this case had a big media attention, so they are pushing for 20 years to the shooter and 10 to any co-author. I dont even know what to think, in one place i feel pity but in the other one i HATE people who commit crimes or help (sadly im strongly embracing the last one)

How do you know they have a nice life? Because they have money? So that's all it takes to have a nice life? Also what does he have solved?

Im mad at how we were when we were their age and how we avoided those things, and then came their generation and almost all of them are now thieves and criminals, and everyone knows it, its a pity.
xxax: They have a nice life, 2 of the 3 brothers had jobs, studying, own house, no debts, a supporting family, and the little one was studying, nothing to worry about, in this country, having a life like that means you have a good path, you should know where im coming to. Its not about the money its about having the chance to prepare your life for the future without having to worry about anything. Very few people have that here.

He is your friends younger brother. I would hardly call that a generation.

Waste of energy to get mad over the way someone else chooses to life their life. Just be grateful you don't live that way and move along.
