Seems like i have a trapped nerve in my right shoulder blade or something. I've been having this weirdest feeling in that area for some weeks now, but recently it's been keeping me awake. Just when i lie down comfortably it jolts me the fuck up. Not pain, but some ticklish? feeling which feels pretty intense. my whole body jumps. I have the same feelings in my thigh and tailbone, but i'm hoping this comes from the same. I tried a little experiment which might confirm it's a nerve in a tight spot. I tightened a belt around my upper body and over the area where the jolt occurs from and lay down. When i tried bending backwards the same feeling was there. Now in a constant feeling as long as i bent slightly backwards. Tried over and over and the feeling was replicated each time, just not in jolts.
Well, i'm fucked. It doesnt happen at all when i lie on my back, issue is i've never been able to fall asleep on my back
I'd get it checked asap if I were you. Perhaps it's just some inflammation triggered by bad posture, and in that case some exercises should lessen the pain and restore your normal condition soon(ish).
Fortunately after the worst night in a long time i had an mr session. Some controll check which was supposed to be done a year ago, but luckily is done now. Head and back scan. Hoping to get some answers!
