Yeah, the story is one of the main aspects of Jade Empire, I wouldn't want to play it without the movies.
Guess i'll be waiting until the 22nd.

just get the dvd9 and rad tools and recompress the videos to 40% and delete the demo folder and it'll prolly fit on a dvd5 with the movies all there

Someone want to post if they actually accomplished this? Don't feel like spending my time downloading the DVD9 without assurance.

hi after reading some replies here.. i decided to give that application a go.. Rad Tools..... nice little proggy.. although i did try as suggested and compressed a video 40% of its orginal size... man..... it came out reallllly bad.... i mean not really watchable...... so i guess imo compressing the video wont be a good option.....
???????????????????????

dvd9 size games seem to be more popular at the mo, maybe it limits piracy because a lot of people dont have a dual layer burner and they actually go and buy the game instead?
Most of the hype on this one has passed me by, it looks 'good' but its not my cup of tea, will try it though, as ign gave it 9.9

not all xboxs play dual layered media copies, i've tried 3 different ones each with same chip but different drives, the older philips drive was ok, the thompson and samsung wouldn't boot

the disk one is pretty much the standard edition you activate the extra character from the extra disk. It doesnt need to be split over 2 disksthe bulk of the disk is the movies some 3gb give or take the audio is huge 2 if movies r downsampled correctly it'll work fine on dvd5

The LE edition is exactly the same as the normal edition. The extra content comes on the bonus disc. I think the releases are slightly mislabelled.

so our only hope is to downsample the movies.
Are those movies "renders" or actually in-game cut-scenes??
And how big are the languages files, demo's and the making of video together??

if i can have a dvd5 with all vids on two disks that would be amazing........you can get dvd-r blank discs for so cheap now i wouldn't care if the game was stretched over four disks. i want it with moovies without having to overpay for dvd9 dvd+r that prob wont work.
come on any groups sort this out for us...you will be well repsected for it, the dvd5 out now is terrible the group derserves no credit really consideirng its an RPG!!! dont bother if your gonna rush,

This is never going to fit on a DVD5 with all content. Any release that tries to split it onto 2 DVDs will probably never work 100% either. Just get a DVD9 - it's only like £9.
