HEY OMFG I JUST GOT THIS GAME THIS EXACT ONE AND I FIRSTLY UPPLOADED IT TO MY FRIENDS XBOX RUNS FINEEEE. THEN I UPPLOAD IT TO MINE, GUESS WHAT, IT DOESNT RUN FINE AT ALL!=!=!=!=!==!= IM LAUNCHING IT FROM MY HDD AND IT HANGS IN THE FIRST LOADING AFTER U PICKED A CHARACTER; DOES ANYBODY ELSE GOT THIS PROBLEM, IM SERIOUSLY KILLING MY SELF IF I DONT FIX IT:!!

first off CAPS! second if you had the demo installed you have to remove that first. i had the same problem, i then extraced the iso to a library i called jade_empire and then i uploaded that to the x-box and presto it worked. NEXT TIM YOU POST DON'T USE FUCKING CAPITALS IT MEANS YOU ARE SCREAMING!!!!

I am screaming, but thx for help. But should i just rename the file (folder) i used Qwix to do it, and the folder is named jade.xbox... u think it will help? ANy way, sorry for screaming\bitching but its soooooo inoying i dont got words.

Does anybody else have a clue? Could it be my old ass Evoulution X, maybe i should uppdate, only problem is, i cant back up cus i got 240g of stuff at my xbox and i got 120g at my computer :S

Try deleting E:\Cache and the saved game, then reboot. It always works....

I have the same problem on my crystal xbox 1.6, but the game works fine on my old 1.0. It hangs at the same place u described on the 1.6 box.

as already mentioned delete the files in e:\cache and old saved games from demo or other versions of jade empire (obviously not all your saved games ,cmon) ... make sure all IGR (in game reset) entries are set to off in your evox. yes it might be worth trying the latest version of evox, all you have to do is replace the 2 evox files ,make a backup of your old version (2 small files) in case you don't like it edit.. is your clock/date set correctly? this can affect some games
