but what You're trying to say that windows 8 has indeed a way to tell either you're on desktop or mobile and tells your browser that so your browser can for example send you to m.facebook.com instead of facebook.com

But proving he wasn't on a tablet, doesn't prove he wasn't in the hospital, your trying to disprove the wrong thing..
He could come back with it might have been a laptop, or any other various excuses why. Since its unrelated to being in the hospital itself.
What your doing is equal to trying to prove your wife was cheating, since she tweeted from an iphone, and she doesn't own one.. Most you can do is prove she used someone else's phone..not WHOS phone. And there is 100's of valid excuses she could give of who she knows with a iphone.
So if you can prove he wasn't using a win8 tablet, doesn't do anything to disprove a hospital visit.
If hes as use to making up and lying as you say...dodging the 'it wasn't a tablet, but still in the hospital' will be easy to do.

Maybe its his version of my friend I have, Sin.
Ive known him for like 20+ years since 10th grade..Totally looney, lonely, and making stuff up all the time, to make up for his total lack of doing shit with his life.
But I deal with it since when hes NOT being a crazy sad idiot hes a good friend, and never really fucked me over,just himself. hes just...strange.

yeah, it was just like that. I liked to hang out with him a lot because he's generally a fun person and didn't harm me in any way.
until yesterday. People made a group post on facebook asking him to give back their tvs, money, xboxes... and so on. So it turned out he's a thief too so I don't give a shit about him anymore.
Half a year ago he sold the same xbox on two separate online auctions.
One lucky guy was sent the xbox, the other.. well, wasn't so lucky.
So he got x2 the price of the xbox.
Now it turns out that xbox was borrowed..
jesus.. just when you think you know a person.
