Well, regarding the CPU, I would definitely get i5-3570K + Z77 Mobo instead or wait for Haswell. However, if you're not planning on overclocking, current setup may serve you well. Smile

Additionally, I would grab ~650W PSU to have some room for future upgrades. Anything more powerful isn't needed I believe.

Yeah, definitely opt for the K series, they are just too easy to overclock these days.

Looks like a pretty decent build though overall. Grats!

If you can afford get a Seasonic power supply, at least that is what all enthusiasts here suggest. The 620W models are priced roughly at 75€ over here Smile

Let me give you a piece of advice; when others give you advice.. don't just dismiss them 550 is "enough" to power your rig, but you should never ever skimp on the PSU. It's the single component in your machine that should never be skimped on, because if that goes; your machine goes. I am 100% with Pumpy on this; get yourself a Seasonic device of some kind, usually one of the high-end Corsair PSUs like the TX650v2 or even a named Seasonic device.

I'll also second what Raccoon said; if you want something that you don't plan on upgrading much later, try and stretch to the K-model CPUs. They're unlocked and overclockable, often to absolutely insane levels of performance.

The most I can get my PC to pull from the wall under load is 400 watts. So when you account for PSU efficiency my PC is actually using less than that.

sabin is right.
I have 600W corsair gaming series psu and its more than enough for single gpu. The fan on it almost never even spins because power output is too low. (look at my specs)

To be honest, we're all right Razz Newty is right that your choice of PSU is *enough*, but at the same time; you're running fairly decent hardware off it, the last thing you want is just to have *enough* Especially when it comes to the PSU.

Since sabina is here
You will need huge psu, because power draw will be much higher if You will use 115fov in games Cool Face
(sorry sabin I had too <3 )

Well of course! If you're running 115 FOV, then your system is rendering more data in a single scene and that will take more power grinhurt

The CPU + mobo combination should be rather fine if you're not going to overclock.

BTW, that memory... You're getting 2x4GB, right? Not a single 8GB kit.

2x4GB will give you dual channel, which will significantly improve performance over a solitary 8GB stick Smile As for changes, it all looks rather spiffy - just remember to get the 3470K so that you can clock it.

it's only 25 euros more for 3570k, for a longer run that's not so expensive. Kingston 300 ssd is really not that needable, you only get faster boot windows and faster loading times at expense of slower power of your cpu (gaming/processing). 25 euros for 25-30% boost if 3570K overclocked is great. Especially in battlefield 3.

Sorry, typo, yes; 3570K and that extra €20-25 is worth every penny over the non-K model. If you're going for Intel, you want to take advantage of the extreme overclock ability.

Damn, that is a lot more expensive. I guess you just have to decide whether you want a lot more performance now, or perhaps down the line when you can swap out your existing proc for a better one. I'd still personally recommend the K model, but I also know what it's like shopping on a budget.

Yes, but if you want i5-3570K, you'll also need motherboard with Z77 chipset! H77 doesn't allow overclocking, therefore all the extra money would go for nothing! Sadly Z77 mainboards are also more expensive than H77.

So it's either 3470 + H77, or 3570K + Z77.

Don't mix K CPU with H77!!!
