Its about a Las Vegas magic show (I think) and while the magic show was going on they were stealing money from a bank... Bank or Casino, think a Bank more...
Cant remember the name of this movie...
Was out in 2013...
Anyone remember the name or suggestions are welcome...
Thanks...

I looked it up, holy crap what a cast, Morgan Freeman, Michael Caine, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson and Isla fisher, but also James Franco's trollish looking younger brother who can't fucking act, and also Jesse Eisenberg.
Oh and Common, who still believes himself to be an actor.
Ah well, the good outweighs the bad, I'll give it a shot.
"I think Call of Duty resonates because it's believable and relatable," Sledgehammer Games cofounder Michael Condrey says.
Believable and relatable...Yep, sounds like Call of Duty

This, would have been better if they didn't go so overboard with the tricks. But it was still an entertaining experience.

Prestige is a different tale. One of revenge, personal demons, suffering and in the end love.
This is about a hipster crew of magicians full of ego and spunk. And ego when done well on screen is fun to watch.
See thank you for smoking as an example.

The movie wasn't done well. 90% of effects = cgi. In a magician movie? wtf.

the magic is simples. the big big big things were cgi. some things weren't.
does it really matter? movie isn't meant to be authentic. it's meant to be entertaining. and it is. turn your brain off. watch the simple plot unfold with some 'cool' characters thrown in.
but even prestige has a handful of cgi... same with The Illusionist... does it matter if they embellish magic in these movies with cgi? I personally don't think so.

It's not the CGI per se, but if they use CGI to make the 'illusions' and the 'tricks', that's something else entirely. There's no point in this movie trying to figure out how they did it.
Same goes for The Illusionist. The 'illusions' with the tree and ghosts were pure CGI. There's no wow factor there. The tree scene removed all immersion for me, I had to force myself to finish the movie after that.
The Prestige is the only movie of these three that did it right.

Is this the film where at the end they move the whole audience to somewhere outdoors?

The entire movie is set up for them to do illusions that no one could guess. Well thats a p retty fucking easy achievement when you just draw it on a screen instead of actually making impressive illusions. The Prestige and The Illusionist were not predicated on such a thing. The Prestige obviously ends up in some sort of fantasy realm anyway(but otherwise it takes a very literal and real approach to illusions and tricks) and The Illusionist, that movie is premised on everyone, including the viewer, thinking that what he does is actually magic. Thats the twist.
That was not the case here at ALL
