Hopefully it's nothing serious
Btw, I have the same problem as Aeon, since I often wear contact lenses for too long and it's definitely not a recommended :S

You don't take them out before you go to bed? |
Yes, but I wear them from morning till evening - approx 12/14 hours, which is a bit too much

Hm, might be from my contacts too. 2 weeks ago a lens broke in half and the other part went kinda behind the eye... it took me a long time until I got it out. I had to take some eye drops to make it come to the front.
...could be the reason why my eyelid is swollen now.
But I think it's getting better now.

You really need a doctor. This kind of thing can require surgery if it doesn't get proper treatment.

How about wearing glasses? Makes you look more intelligent as well. |
I don't know why but glasses make me look incredibly weird, it's like my face isn't designed to wear things that are artificially made. Same for caps or any other gadgets (not that I feel the need to wear them heh )

people who wear contacts are far more at risk to eye infections. Throw that pair away throw away the case. even the tip to your solution bottle could be infected. These kind of things can seem to go away then come back jump from eye to eye etc. Best thing is to get rid of all your current eye products. Get on some antibiotic dropps and wait for the infection to clear, an thts even longer than when you think its gone. Oh and the drops are mad expensive. a tiny little bottle and imean about a thimbles worth cost me 100 us dollars.
