The site used to be called "Team Nforce" back in the day. With a centered release tab, and it was run by some dude who called himself something like thespeedX or similar. It was hosted on nforce.nl (which today is nforce hosting) JeanLuc was actively posting (he had the Picard avatar and everything). We used to have a "Review"-section for reviews, and a separate forum section for posting nfos... the sexy selection was called something like "Sexy babes" and there was a section for gfx-artists. This section used to be for just testing sigs (because changing sigs was the shit back then). Renamed to NFORCE NFOS later on, and then "nfohump" with the new url.
There was -a few- who currently are here now that were here then. MAD_MAX is old school, Apex_Predator too, ... dkkev I remember too. And a few others.
I used to hang more at isonews in the beginning though, and I remember the feuds between these forums. Both used to say that "meh, the other site is just a ripoff of us with inverted colors". Those were the days.
I lurked for a long time Maybe even have some old acc, though most of the old guys won't remember me as I read most of the time the PC Games section and didn't comment on the other stuff.

i started on isonews, got perm banned and then came to nforce
lol for what reason?
Because i hate a major hate war with krieg and g/coax and all the other shitheads and i called them on it and pretty much ended up flaming the shit out of them. But the perm ban came when i started calling the mods on their BS. Penguin and all the other dickheads.
people think the hump is bad sometimes, they never been to isonews
heck, if you look at my first posts, they're actually a direct continuation from isonews to nforce. With me going after "Frozen", another one from isonews
Seems my first post was in 2004, when did nforce actually begin? I know I was lurking/checking nfo's quite some time without an account tbh. Can't be sure but I thought that was 1 or 2 years at least.
I was between isonews and here, you guys were my first love though, I honestly don't even remember how I got here, probably a link someone posted many years ago.
Funny to see the old site like that. I don't remember when I actually registered here, but since my join date is 1969 it must have been prior to 2004, no? Since that's around when you guys switched?

And, yes, I joined the first day that I came here, but I waited ~4 years to say anything. And, then when I did say something, it wasn't really constructive at all.
Nowadays, I stop in at least five or six times a day and read the continuing soap opera that is the hump.
Is Sin pregnant with Lutzifer's baby? Are Garus and Ixigia going to ever make up and elope? Is Spykez ever going to find his long lost love? All these questions, and more, will be answered on the next installment of: As the World Humps.
Plus, this is one of the (if not the only) places where I can go and bash America unabashedly. When I bitch about our own ineptitude in most other places, all I get is, "Hurr in 'Merica, we skin yellow-bellied, pinko, commie bastards like you and shit on your salad! Yu fuckin' peese of traysh!" Of course, I do live in an area of the country renowned for it's idiocy (both religious and political).

Thanks for the idea Lutz!
I joined when that star wars rts game was released, I was having troubles getting the mirror file working and thought since I always checked for nfos the forum might have a solution. Then I started doing all those game templates and been here since

I've never browsed ISOnews, always been a NFOrce lurker who became poster during the Hump era both because of the reliable infos about releases and the incredibly intriguing people here . No need to say that it was love (and much more) at first sight
Burned out on Guild Wars, interest in Gothic 3 brought me here. At least a part of the board was indexed back then since I found this site via Google. Liked it here and stayed, have had various sabbaticals though. Never heard of isonews before I read it here. I guess I am pretty late to the party. Back in 2006/2007 one of the funny things here were the flame wars in the World News section. I guess funny for us, but a drama for the mods most likely. Oh man, anti-Semitics, a Holocaust denier, racists (no I am not), a fundamental conservative, someone from the Muslim Brotherhood (and he was pretty reasonable) drama ensued.
I've been here for a loooooooooooooooong time. Since before the two designs posted above at least (at a guess, around 14 years), although prior to this database iteration I was known as something else.
TheSpeedX still owns NFORCE. dkkev still comes around from time to time.
My best memory of nforce was both the Barney stuff and zTc before he got banned .
My first visit was during the "Alone in the Dark can't be cracked" days, lost interest or forgot about the forum until Fallout 3 came out.
Someone here posted something like "look at place X,their p2p crack is working".Came twice a week to lurk after that, registered but forgot the account details (damn drugs) so i made the shickle sometimes later. This forum is addicting & stupid at the same time
Hell I dunno how long I've been poking around here...I know at least since nforce.nl was the name.
I think I poked around the nfo list and randomly read the forums for a looong time before posting. And my first post was in 2004.
Never was a member or even visited isonews or any of the other sites like that. This was my only random nfo site.
