Been playing this the past few days, its been around for many months but i saw userbase explode so i wanted to check what it is about. Basicly imagine DayZ but without zombies. You can build bases, weapons are a bit more common and found in vehicles instead of houses. Vehicles can be towed, walls/towers and other building material can be loaded into vehicles and be used ingame to build a base. There is a simple water/food system but not as harsh as dayz. SO this is more pvp focussed. There are 3 teams , opfor, blufor and independent , indepent team allows you to teamkill other independent players ( basicly this is for the solo players ). Servers can differ a bit. original is more about rifles only, with cars, trucks, and hmmvs at best ( i prefer this setup ) . american servers tend to have alot of ammo crates, tanks , choppers where its alot less about wasteland but more arma with bases. I regularly play on the Sixty8 server (80 players ) that allows JSRS 1.5 mod ( must have ). You dont need to have any addons instealled, just join a server and the mission it downloads is all you need.

is also in dayz thread tried playing few months back needs teamates on teamspeak far to many knob heads teamkilling,is good game would be good to play with fellow humpers tatics needed hard to sort out with random people
