Just ordered <3 These sticks have been kings lately for overclocking enthusiasts. Low as hell voltage and people have been able to push these things to some pretty awesome OC's.

Retiring my G.Skill

haha oh ya, forgot I recommended them to you. What'd you get on your timings and voltages?

Apparently upgrading bios means it also resets all your settings Very Happy
have not bothered OCing it ever since, but IIRC, i got 2000mhz at stock voltages, couldn't push it to 2133mhz for some reason

i might try again in near future

I would take these days looks over how they overclock. Memory is these days so fast that you get minimal gains by overclocking it (and the minimal gain is only seen in benchmark diagrams).

Or when using integrated gfx. Aww Yeah

I still prefer price/quality > looks though. Why should I care about what my Ram looks like?

Those who uses integrated GFX, doesnt use it for gaming, so its same what memory you have. And i care how my memory looks, since i have case with side window. Tho im perfectionist, im currently searching mobo which has same color scheme than rest of my PC internals (Black & White) Very Happy.

Very Happy

It is the Scythe Orochi, 1.6 Kg and huge as hell.

Was the best air cooling option when I built up my "Silenced" rig.
I even used it in passive mode at first Smile
Anyway its 150mm 900rpm fan is almost inaudible.

nah, it might pop a solder joint or two but PCB boards have so much retention you can literally bend them into a 65 degree angle and they won' snap. You should see my old x800 GTO with a zalman cooler lmao. That thing is like a bananna.

As for the OC'ing of this memory. The speed doesn't matter as much for AMD since the IMC is on the chip, AMD's benefit from better timings which you can get some awesome timings for these suckers.

Smaller..they actually sit below the stick clips.

shipped with timings 11-11-11-28 CAS 11 1.35V

Dropped timings down to 9-9-9-24 CAS 9 ....1.35V Didn't even have to touch the voltages. These things can get some wicked overclocking numbers. Someone almost hit 3000Mhz with these
