...or why gaming sucks when you try to play games old or new Farcry 2 pc .. oh wait its got some horrible stuttering problems on dx10 forcing you to play in dx9 and with "gfx_maxfps 30" typed in the console just to be able to PLAY IT in os's beyond winxp but wait after mission 6 it crashed and deleted my saves great mind fuck guess i better get the xbox360 version [ps3 lags like fuck] looks the same and has the same frame rate [hehe curious if Farcry 3 can stand the test of time...as of now 360 version runs in 20fps then stable 60 on pc but... what if win8 or win9 will fuck it up ] yeah bought a ps2 to play games .. too bad the magic of tube TV magnifying stamp sizes images is not build-in into LCDs when small images are stretched to theirs native resolution just looks so ...bad ... on RGB aka SCART aka EURO you get blur the shit image ... on AV aka three cables 2xsound 1xvideo you get moving horizontal lines ... ... and on SVideo well you can fake the tube magic and get a sharper image but now you get vertical lines on things that are moving great guess now i have to find a ps3 composite cable and use it on this ps2 [theirs av plug stayed the same you can even use ps1 cables] or buy a upscaler or a tubetv just for this

no shit sherlock like i was forced to play the xbox360 version of Double Agent then my Pc version just because theirs game is NOT COMPATIBLE WITH ANY GRAPHIC DRIVER EVER

but this brings us to a dramatic conclusion, games don't age well on PC, and with time your PC will not run them ...but on consoles games only fail to run because you don't own a proper Tv for this particular console

With progressive scan on, you will be able to count single pixels, ex. in God of War 2.

For PS2 use either old tube TV + Scart RGB, or Plasma TV + Component.

And BTW Component video (YPbPr without 2 additional audio RCA's):

hehe yeah the naming of those cables is kinda fucked here in Europe : in USA you call it Scart but in Europe its called EURO , same with composite = USA aka AV= Europe so yeah when you go to your local TV store and ask for SCART they will ask "WTF IS THAT ????" Its EURO you dumb thwats to continue my quest of gaming tried to play it though my TV card i bought some time ago back in 2004 ... guess what i lost the AV cables that where specially designed for this card ... well i didn't lost them i must have miss place them ... oh damn oh and if you ask about FARCRY 2 well i pirated the GOG version that has all DLC and crap in it must test it if this still has this stuttering bug of this DUNIA ENGINE that can't output more frames then 45 without stuttering every 2min gaming on my pc just scares me or my age is getting to me when to play a game you have to insert a anal probe of drm or swim though the deeps of internet just to find a patch to make it run..like UBIK a nice Cyro game that does not work on new Windows Vista Win7 win8 etc.. because old games could turn off Direct Draw to run theirs own created drivers to run games better then shitty DirectX did ... well old windows games don't work now because you can't disable it , why you may ask ....well because new os's use it as a integral part of theirs GUI graphic pipeline ... thanks to my friends i found a fan made UBIk patch that getto turned off by hack force direct drawn ... and this only to play UBIK hehe...

You must be living in a different Europe than I do Here we call it Scart and with composite you can say either composite or AV (But mostly here we call it composite). Atleast here we don't have any complexion into dubbing everything or eurofying stuff. We just use the correct technical terms xD
