What takes time is the unpacking of iso's, rar's, 7zip's, .cab's etc. etc. etc. etc... scanning unpacked files is fast.

Well it's like that for me, I have nearly 500GB full. I'm kinda dreaded at how long would it take if I would get TB drive :\

Full scan, deep scanning inside of archives, takes a dog's age.. but hey! At least it's thorough right? A standard scan takes less than 10 mins and I run one of those every so often.

Antivirus softwares hate piracy (and all the various rld.dll, paul.dll.. files) more than viruses these days
