So im gonna treat myself and buy some very high quality speakers to my PC (gave my SP 2500 to brother). Got about 1000€ to spend. Corsair speakers were very good but i want subwoofer which can output some serious bass.

Found this set for very nice price (dunno if its any good?). Could get genelec speakers + genelec subwoofer which are for sure awesome, but that would be near 1K €.

Why dont you get a proper set of headphones instead, if you're going for such a crafty price tag? Razz

I still have a 6 year old 5.1 Teufel Magnum set up, cost only slightly more than 300 and works excellent (+12 year warranty)

when throwing the EMP grenade in Blops2 the subwoofer makes my pyjama pant legs tremble

why get anything lower than 5.1 or 7.1? subwoofer is a must as is locating sounds that come from behind and the side

for 1000 euroes I would buy actual hi-fi that puts out good sound instead of buying a plastic set from Logitech.

I doubt you will hear much difference between 500€ and 1000€ speakers unless you're an audiophile and have the rest of equipment to match.

That said, make sure to leave money for proper DAC & amp unless you already got those.

Also, don't buy the speakers online. Go to the store and test them out.

And if you're looking for clear sound, you can't match a good set of headphones in that regard.
