holy shit they released new drivers for a non 8 series card and XP.
its been since november of 06 since there's been official ones from nvidia.

they say it includes the new control panel but it doesnt. not for me at least. and i was jut getting used to it.

which control panel? if you mean the one under the advanced display settings then I'm not sure. I use the classic view and can't remember how to put it back lol

They are kinda, but you can mod the ini file and install them for 6/7 series cards too and they work fine. Also installed this driver now but also not getting a new style control panel.

I'm curious if this driver update was to help in Lost Planets. Cause they've been working with nvidia to help with problems and what not in the demo. Hell I even gained some FPS in it.

Quite a few of the Guru3D drivers they pack for their downloads, they pre-mod the ini file so people don't need too... which is very handy I guess Smile

That list is from 2004, but no I haven't been able to find a complete list yet. ATI was too slow at adapting the SM3.0 tech. Oh well, doesn't matter now, they are going under with AMD slowly.
