My Creative Fatal1ty Pro USB is dying right now. Mic doesn't work anymore and the sound on the left ear-part is broken.



I wanted to buy the Fatal1ty MK 2 USB, but I can't find it anywhere. It looks like no one is selling them, not even amazon.de

I was really happy with the fatal1ty and I wouldn't mind buying another one, but I also wouldn't mind buying something better.

what would you guys recommend?

Headphones + separate mic.

The Fatal1ty ones have decent audio for such a cheap headset, but HD202's will already sound better Smile

I had fatality MKII and it was a good headset. Gave it to my girlfdriend and got myself a sound blaster sigma tactic3d. Very comfy headset. good deep bass, loud. nothing to complain Razz

I have that one too. I've used it for my youtube video reviews / commentarys. But the guys on Teamspeak say that I sound weird with that one, dunno :/

/edit: I'm sure those AKG ones are good, but hell...the price Laughing. I don't want to spent 230+ EUR on a headset ^^.

The Plantronics GameCom 780 Gaming Headset 7.1 got my attention I guess I'll check some reviews for this one.

I ordered myself Plantronics GameCom 777 I think they are or 770, were on sale for $23..didn't get them yet but from reading the reviews they are pretty good

not sure what is the diffference between those and 780

yea, I think it's a good headset. I just bought it. Well, the difference is that I had to pay 49 EUR Very Happy...that's like $ 63

Well, aparently my headset is dying as well, except the mic is working fine, but the left side silent, unless I move the cable to a specific position.

Since it's waranty expired a month ago, and no money at the moment, any way to fix the dissappearing sound?

I'm guessing it has something to do with the cable

ohhh why headsets with replacable cable are so expensive.

I would say look for headset with detachable cable on the earbud. I've seen a review like a year ago of headset like this.
Imagine. You pull the cable really strong and it just detatches from its jack input in headphones and it don't fuck up the inside of the earbud So Much Win

Can only recommend Razer Tiamat 2.2, fucking awesome bass + overall sound clarity is very good for headset. Getting those next week. Had Steelseries Siberia V2, but they broke couple days ago ;< They are awesome aswell.
