i was taking nap around 6pm last week and my dad scream for me coz someone is at the door, all tired and barely woken up opened a door and some lady started to talk about something about something rate of electricity something said to sign here and there and...still half-asleep went back to sleep afterwards
today in mail, i get letter addresses to me that apprently I switched to different electricity supplier...date is stampted november 8th and you have 3 day to cancel from that date but I got letter today which is november 13th..early termination fee is $400...
fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck, still not sure what is this all about..fuck ffuck..im screwed
Sounds like a rip-off or at least fishy. Get some idiots to sign up and if they realise how stupid they were (or beeing told) they have that 400$ fee to scare them not to cancel the contract. Check the laws. I think the 3 days count from the day you actually received the letter (at least in Germany it's the case).

I started to read about this company and well people seem to have their monthly bill raised instead of lowered, not sure how it will work out at the end. Some say it's a scam or that they are legit..not sure we have never changed supplier, no idea how this works

I usually shut the door for those kind of people, but to tell you the truth, it was a chick this time and I thought i would get her phone number but got denied instead

Or for the most stupid ones its a guy asking that your father is in a hurry and said to send the laptop or something else or that your mother has crashed and they need money urgently to pay some medicine etc aaaaaaaand u got scammed.
(This happens every day around me, i hear a story every week)
