in my 16 years in IT, i have never seen this problem, friend of mine has Asrock h67m motherboard, and when he try to burn dvd with lg dvd burner, burner stops burning when we click on firefox to open, we try'ed 4 different dvd burner, same problem again and if we dont click on firefox and leave computer alone then the burning is complete,.. unbelievable, and we did fresh install windows 7 and problem is here again. i scanned hdd with hd tune, no problem, try'ed with speedfan, hdd has no problems, if memory is maybe faulty windows 7 installation will not complete,.. pls help we dont know what to do, we try'ed to google the problem but no results, no one has experienced similar problem,..

components are:
asrock h67m
i5 2300
4 gb ddr3
windows 7 64

Use Chrome. Cool Face

But seriously, seems very strange. Since you did reinstalls it's bound to be with either the Win version, the current FF version conflicting with the burning software or memory.

But I'm a complete hardware-illiterate, I just had to say something to counteract the trolling. Smile

Did you try switching the burning software?

What are you using to burn anyway currently?

Which burn software ? Also, you're not installing ANY dvd-related drivers/software, are you ? Any WinDVD bullshit ?

Use ImgBurn or get the fuck out. Very Happy

(Maybe the HDD thrashing while Firefox loads results in buffer underrun)
