P.S: Howdy partner!

P.P.S: for this trip, i had to make my first passport, now both my and the USA governments have my fingerprints.. Sad

Was there with work a few months ago. Too high to remember what to recommend, but I will try.

Texas BBQ food, rodeos, the main road with all the bar / restaurants on it, shooting shit.

That's about it!

Space for rent. Contact me for rates!

I have a question - what will happen, if I install steam while there, and try to play my games?

They will track you down and lock your ass up in Guantanamo.

Been there about 2-3 years ago. There is absolutely NOTHING to see there. You can check the street where Kennedy was shot, his memorial, maybe the Cowboys Stadium if you're into that sort of thing...and that's about it. It is a bland city, with absolutely deserted streets during weekends. The downtown area is for work only, there are barely any bars or entertainment, so cars are non-existent, everyone lives in the suburbs, etc. I doubt you'll do anything there beside work. If you can, spend as much time in NYC as possible. That's where it's at. Very Happy

I can't buy a laptop, without waiting for at least 3 days!

And thats even with compromises! If I want to buy the laptop that I want, I have to wait 2 weeks!!!

Soo I finally got my home rig running and connected to it (it was shutdown by my landlady).
Then through it I connected to paypal (paypal is locking your transactions if you're not using your usual IP) and transferred some funds to my boss, who ordered my new laptop, which I will receive tomorrow.
Maybe pictures tomorrow.

I hope you went to the State Fair on the 19th. Would be great to see the most blatantly "Texas" icon get burned down on a visit.

They have no navigation, so they're useless to me. And the rate is at 25$ per day with weekend promotion, without petrol.

True story: By local tradition in Texas you're not a real person if you don't have at least three cars/preferably trucks.

rofl

Kids these days and their GPS horseshit.

Ain't that difficult quick loading up google maps, looking at the general route you need to take, and then writing the last bit down.

Um yea they do. At least at budget in Houston TX airport, Nav is included in all there rentals for free, at least when i was there.

I honestly would not drive in Houston without Nav.
