Naw, it's an ad. It flashes whenever I change a page.. which means adblock is blocking something.

Hmm is it really better these days Chromium?
Things I dislike with FF:
- Scripts on websites will run automatically unless you install noscript or something.
Thing is I can't be bothered to continually change permissions for websites I visit.
- Same with cookies, fuckoff with your cookies, this is a good way of tracking your browser activities.
But since lotsa sites don't even function properly without cookies enabled, I don't bother either.

Nope, I see the flash ad too .. and adding it to ABP (which was a PITA since I had to find the URL via page source) leaves a large ugly white blank space. Lesser of two evils, I guess.

I'm not sure if I'm just being blind, but there's no such option in ABP. Hell.. you USED to be able to select any element of the page (ie, the DIV) and block it. You can't do that any more, now you either have to manually add the entire URL or you only get the chance to block images via context menu -- which doesn't show up for flash vids.

And I even tried their "easy create filter" but it won't target the ad.

You are using https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/adblock/gighmmpiobklfepjocnamgkkbiglidom right? If so, just select Block ad on this page and click on the flash. |
