Hey guys i have a question..i'm planning on buying the new 660 TI AMP and replace it with the existing graphic card (560 TI AMP)..and i noticed that the 660 TI AMP graphic card has PCI-E 3.0 and i have a PCI-E 2.0 motherboard (asus P5Q3 deluxe)..how much less performance will i get out the 660 TI AMP since it will use PCI-E 2.0 instead of 3.0..is it still worth buying ?..thanks in advance Smile

IMO you'll lose minuscule amounts of performance, barely noticeable if anything at all.

Less than 1%, if anything. I don't know if the 660 Ti can even saturate PCI-E 2.0.

PCI-E 2.0 x16 == PCI-E 3.0 x8 in terms of speed, so yes, it's perfectly fine Wink

Thanks for the quick reply..can't seem to find if 660 TI AMP can saturate PCI-E 2.0 anywhere though Smile
