situation:
1 HD of 60 gig with 3 partitions
1 HD of 120 gig als with 3 partitions
yesterday I decided to merge partition 1 & 2 of HD2 with partition magic 8.0
when almost completed, the programm gave me a nice error :/
and both partions we're LOST
partition 1 became invisible, partition 2 became "unallocated" (or smth)
after some srewin around, partition 1 was back and partition 2 was formatted
BUT
both partitions of HD2 ar NOT visible in my explorer
(although they are now in partion magic)

On the PM8 screen shot 2 of the partitions dont have drive letters assigned to them, thus they are not showing up. Check the right click options inside of PM8 to see if there is an option to assign a letter, there should be. If you're still having issues let me know and Ill play around on my PC, I have a few spare HDD's in this machine I aint using and can test on.

You can assign drive letters within windows. Just Right click on My Computer and then on Manage. You can then assign drive letters to partitions or change drive letters.

letters assigned!... partition 2 visible and empty
partion 1 has 1 gig of free space, explorer shows nothing
