for me, the very end of meet the robinsons, where he goes to his new home. i just love that bit, because the entire film built up to it wonderfully, and the music works so well.. its just... few films actually come close to bringing a tear to my eye, but that scene comes close every time i see it.
also the crow, the bit where he smashes the mirror and puts on his mask/outfit. though i feel kinda bad, because that wasnt even lee, was it either way, its a fantastic scene.
all the duels in sergio leone westerns, but my personal favorite is the one in 'few dollars more', with the music box trigger, and the wonderful tension the awesome music creates
there's so many scenes, it's hard to draw a cut-off point
well i watched about a minute of that, and you've completely turned me off of watching that show. seems kinda one-note and shitty to be honest. and thats the scene that sold you on the show? kinda expected more from a show everyones always talking about...
each to their own and all that, not judging.. just saying, ive lost whatever interest i ever had in watching that show now if thats one of its best scenes perhaps it only works with context?
Well, it's the only scene in the series like that.
Just showing how these two friends can communicate without a spoken word, their sense of humor, and their relaxed professionalism in their work.
Also, the realistic slow and toned down pace of the series.

Perhabs your post is very stupid. 60 hours of TV but 2 minutes of a scene that you didnt put in context makes you rant like that? And then you throw in a qualifier like "perhaps it only works with context?".
Not only is it a good scene when you watch it just as part of the show but it gets better when you understand that the writer (Simon) is referencing his own truecrime book where he wrote that its basically possible for two detectives to go through a murder scene using nothing but the word Fuck. Language becomes less the focus and the interaction with movement and articulation is what drives the scene. Its a great scene and not because they say Fuck a lot.
