I have enough of avast. It is heavier than it was in the past and recently it started to recognize everything as a threat.
What are other options ?
Something light and free maybe?

All you need is MSE and a firewall. I use Sphinxsoftware's.

OK. Installed Microsoft essentials. Took about 20seconds. thanks
Just checked the option for MSE to automaticly enable firewall if I don't have installed any. And I don't. Just made a clear install
