Well, I used to be a crew member for four years on FIFA Benelux but I left a couple of months ago, so I don't think I'll go. Still the crew wants me to join them so maybe EA can be nice for me

I won't go this year. last year was totally fucked up. It was too crowded like bringiton already said. Well, I could get in and easily play anything because of my press pass, BUT my friends couldn't get in and meh... I didn't even play BF3 back then. You had to wait like 8 hours in line xD...

Well, it seems I will be going to the GamesCom afterall. On the 16th that is and we will have access to the EA Community Lounge. I'm not as excited as previous years, but since EA pays for everything, I'll go anyway.
I have a question for someone that has been to gamescom any of the previous years... Kinda freaking out here.
I just discovered on the 13th my Idenfication card will lapse. It takes at least 5 days to get a new one here so Im SHIT out of luck.
Was wondering if anyone who has gone prior to this year could tell me if they had their identifications checked upon entrance, Would help me out alout knowing.
Before you enter the Gamescom you have to go to some stand (?) where they check your age and therefore they look at your ID. You get a colored bracelet depending on your age. I don't know if they actually at the date of your ID, my guess is no.
do you have to get something else here too? cause if thats all I could just have my mate get 2 bracelets. or bullshit my way out of it. assume they care mostly about age there, and anyone fashioning a beard the likes of mine theyd be sure to give a red bracelet lol
Gamescom was epic! gameoffering wise it was somewhat of a let down, but it being my first gameshow I had a blast of a time! Used my big mouth and got 2 bags of goodies to bring. and bought an awesome deus ex figurine ^_^
