+1
it was huge all over the media when he came out. and people took it normally. It wasn't a OMFG moment. It was just covered 24/7. It was a regular, ok so he's gay \o/ No biggie... and that makes him so awesome. He doesn't care. He does what he wants. He's a decent enough actor. And whenever he's on anything he's the star Very Happy

Watch this instead, the acting is better and its well above the standard of American TV. (Which isn't that difficult)

Wait... you are complaining that the actor of a heterosexual character is gay, and because of him not being "the ladies man" in real life that his character in the series loses credibility? In ... a fiction comedy series.

Some people here go the extra mile interpreting comments and getting butthurt, just like my GF Cool Face

In a way it makes you remember that in RL hes gay, and hes doing a ladies man role on a tv series. So everytime i see him acting, im remembering that fact and wondering how ironic it is. (Still seeing the series and it doesnt ruin it for all the mad lads around here)

Try imagining that Charlie Sheen was gay and watch the show again. You wont focus as you did before.

EDIT: ANNNNNDDDD didnt also know that Jim Parsons was gay LOL, although in RL he has some manners and kind of pointed it out. As i said, i dont read media. Rolling Eyes

Point taken, true, but ur missing the point, maybe for you its transparent, common, it must be the difference in tolerance about homosexuality. In my case its funny and ironic.

Tolerating homosexuals is very similar to tolerating religion, you can be best friends with them if they keep it to themselves, but when they start trying to insert their junk in you it's time to sever all ties with them and ignore they even exist.

I don't follow any actors personal life, because it is not relevant to the show.

Moreover, it wouldn't be good acting if he has to "act" himself. Multi dimensional acting is what makes him interesting.

I feel sad for the homophobes here, just come out of the closet and stop hating yourself and living in denial.

It's OK. Us heterosexuals don't mind that you like to touch each other.

Why is it that people, most people, feel so concerned about the private lives and private choices of other people.

I belief the problem here is a social one, where often heterosexual males with gay friends think they will be mistaken by others as gay because they hang out with gay people, that is nonsensical to say the least, and who cares about the opinions of others anyway.

As long as people are clear about what they are and what their preferences are, there is no reason for such behavior, I make no distinction between gay or heterosexual persons, the only thing that could put me on the defensive was if I noticed some gay person had an interest on me, at that point I would probably distance myself from him or be clear that I was sure of my heterosexuality.

You're comparing homosexuality with rape. And you wonder why "it's always the same". Why the fuck do you even care that some dude is a homo? The only difference between you and him is that he likes other guys. Do you treat women you aren't interested in the same way? "Oh, that girl is into guys... then she's weird, I can't be around her..."

There is no logic to this shit, so if you found out that your best mate you've known for 10+ years likes guys, always liked guys but was afraid to tell you because he knows you hate gays? You would be like "I don't like you anymore, lol gay".

Makes little sense to me.

If some gay guy tried to rape you, then fine hate that guy. Otherwise it makes no fucking sense.

@fisk

Personally I don't care.

However I do understand where homophobia comes from.. Everything you cant have a baby with is very unnatural.
Moreover animals basic instinct is to reproduce and when another guy looks at a gay couple unconsciously that just seems a little bit off.

And this is not something I made up. I read it from a psychology book ( read: had to read Sad ).
