I just read a request from someone who couldn't find a link to download on the frontpage. I looked at the frontpage and thought, hmm he is right! Now don't get me wrong , what i did notice while looking at the frontpage is the fact that there is no info about not downloading at all. So can't we have an addition to the frontpage wich says no downloading, no torrent links, only nfo's? I think it would reduce requesting if this kind of message would be right above the nfo list. Because right now, it is very hard to find any info that you can't download anything here. Take a look at vcd quality, they have it under their nfo list (although the size is very small)

I would agree, but I almost feel like the site would be giving in to the stupid... If you can't find something, generally it isnt there. Ill write more later, have to run lol

I like the idea.
Newbs generally don't know if they can't download here.
Since the main page is the first one they see it might be a good idea to clearly warn them there that they can't download here...I like it.

to go on from what I startted.. Although I feel it would help the site loose the more annoying of its visitors, I don't feel it would help enough to justify the almost "cheapening" of the website. I know my point of view is (as always) slightly elitist (in a sense that I can't stand moronic computer users..), I dont see why people can goto a website and follow the fairly obvious rules! I think a small statement at the bottom of the page then a more obvious link to a site FAQ would keep the site looking and feeling as it does, but also help the newbs. If they aint going to read an FAQ they wont care about a "no downloads here" notice .. wanders off

I totally agree. I applied for this in the previous forum, but there was no action taken. I think the idea It's better than nothing. And If it's placed right and witht the right font, colour and size it would not disturb the normal nfo surfing.
