probably not really suited in hardware area, but don't know were to ask.

someone is going to america in january, and asked me what i want for xmass Smile).

i want a amazon fire tablet, not alternative there, and a kindle.
what kindle ?
i like 3g ones, but it really worth the difference vs wifi only ? i can do anything with the basic browser ?
what version keyboard/touch ... ?
i dont trust fire to be easy on my eyes, i would prefer an eink display.
i read a lot.

Got my kindle touch yesterday and I'm pretty happy with it. The touchscreen is very responsive and overall the experience is just as good if not better than kindle3.

I'm looking for a cover though...didn't feel like paying 30$ to Amazon (Jesus, the cover is 1/3 the price of the kindle itself). Anyone can recommend a decent cover? I found some Chinese crap on deal extreme but it looked really bad, though the price was good - 9$ Laughing

i7 6700k @ 4.4 GHZ, 2060s, 16 GB RAM, SSD, Windows 10x64.

In short:
Forget about the browser on the eink versions. 3G only worth it when you wanna BUY (not pirate) books when there is no Wifi. Keyboard not THAT important, but depends on whether you take alot of notes while reading.
