And by successful i don't mean as Successful literally but more successful than their ugly counterparts.
There's many articles, studies, examinations, reviews and whatnot about the correlation between good-looking people and being successful on the job market. And fortunately it's true. I've been to numerous job interviews, in fields where i have almost zero experience at. I just apply for candidacy, show my healthy and beautiful face to the interviewer, and most of the time i'm headed for next step interview. Whilst people with bad lineaments for example but a lot of experience in the field, get rejected. It's not 100 % thanks to your looks, you also have to have a good social skills, you have to know where and when to press the button. About half way through the interview i get quite personal with my potential future employer. It's a tricky part, but with the right skill set it's anything else but impossible. Though i would say it counts for approximately 30 %, your looks are more important. It works for both male and female. It doesn't mean your male employer is gay or something, just nice and healthy looking people steam more happiness, more positive energy. Your interviewer instinctively gets blown by it. You have more self-confidence with your good looks.
There's much more i would like to discuss on this topic, but there's no need. Good-looking people get it themselves, they are usually more successful.
I was looking the picture thread here, and a very few have good facial features. But in the world of IT it's an inevitable truth. Computers are where nerds hide themselves, where they can stalk other people, chat with girls pretending to be some awesome pua masters.
You have to be a good-looking, healthy and mentally balanced to be successful in life!

I already used Laplace transforms at the age of 5, and was able to fully master Mozart's concerto no.15 in my free time, while I wasn't playing with my Ninja Turtles. |
