Based on an original idea by Krasinski, and written by Michael Sarnoski and Jeff Nichols, the film will not deal with the Abbott family storyline and instead unfold against the larger backdrop of the universe of the two prior films.
The new film deals with the first day of the sonic-targeting beasties arriving on Earth and promises to show how our world went ‘quiet’.
Finally we're gonna get our answers how those aliens managed to overcome armored vehicles and airforce and navy. They must have some kind of secret ability apart from agility and brute force shown in the 2 movies. Right?
It was ok-ish...but the cat part was just silly.
I love cats, but i would ditch them instantly if there was aliens who depended on sounds. Cats can be quite noisy and also: they both swim and dive (!!) with the cat without any problems. Sure, swimming might work with some cats - but no way a cat would stay calm if you dive the way they do. lol!

I gave it a 1 because I finished it thru pain and suffering. Pizza? Really? That is the main goal of the movie: to get good pizza? What a disgrace and embarrassment to the franchise. Avoid at all costs

I kind of understod the pizza part. Nothing left in her life and she knew that even if she could survive the aliens she was dying anyway.
