When microwave in the kitchen is microwaving, wi-fi signal dies Sad Is it supposed to be like this or my microwave is "leaking" ?

EDIT: signal dies only in the kitchen, still works in other rooms just fine.

Interference. You can always try and make aluminum shielding, that blocks cellphone signal, so it should block microwave.

Is the microwave new or old? Because they are basically resonant boxes, and they shouldn't 'leak' radiation... (radiation as in MHz or GHz non ionizing ofc.)
