This Saturday there is a big city-wide party near my home town. And I want to catch a movie first and then get wasted there with my buddy. However, the aunt of my gf is having her 60th birthday party and she's celebrating big (100+ people) and I'm supposed to go (and I already said I would go since I forgot about the party). My gf will go and she and her aunt will be pissed if I don't come along. I've been living with my gf for 4 years now so there's not a lot of opportunity for sneaky stuff :/
So, how can I go to the party I want to go to while not having to deal with an angry and disappointed gf?

grow up and fulfill your obligations
8 out of 10 dentists prefer zipfero to competing brands(fraich3 and Mutantius)!

I saw things like that in here and in other "woman problems" topics so...... Am I the only one that thinks some authorities needs to be alerted about Saner and him possibly being a rapist and/or kidnapper ? |

whiney bitch. How long will the party at aunt take? All day? How long will the city party take? All day?
Be creative and chop your day up. I mean, nobody will be pissed if you leave the aunt party after 2-3h... Just tell your gf you want to change venues after some time and go to the party with your buddy. Ditch the movie part, skip to the boozing part.
problems fixed.

buy your gf a new aunt, one that celebrates her 60th birthday on another day, or even better, one who is already 60.

Hire two male strippers dressed as cops that would drag you away from the party on some drug charges.
Today I didn't even need to use my AK. I gotta say it was a good day. (c) - Ice Cube

From my experience those kind of birthdays given the "old" people involved reach their climax after 1 hour or so, then it's a descending parabola until the time when most of them will be ready to leave and you can sneak out a-la Panther Sam without problems.
Then you have two choices for the mighty excuse:
-"Hey gurl, I'm not feeling well today, I need to go home early" <- not recommended since someone at the party might rat you out xD
-Be honest with her . If she's cool, she'll be ok with it. Hell, it's not that you're married like Saner and Pumpy, those poor guys.. .
If she says nay, you can always play the reparative butt card to make up for everything!

Honesty might work. Go to tell your girl everything. Tell her you really want to go to this party because it's the best party ever and you just have to be there or else you won't be able to show your face in social circles for MONTHS. But also tell her that her grand mother means so much to you ever since you passed the threshold of four long years in the same stale relationship and you would rather die in a blazing inferno than to ever disappoint such a kind hearted woman. Tell her that you'll go to the birthday party because you know it will mean so much to her and possibly tag along to the after party after the birthday party.
Be sure to up play the big party to make it sound like a spectacle of the century, on that occurs once every 60 years or so years. Also be sure to mention how much her grandmother means to you and how much this relationship means to you and that you have made a terrible mistake and now you're split between a rock and a hard place.
She will understand. She will be upset. If her grandmother dies the day after the birthday party [obviously god forbid] then she will never forgive you for missing such a historic landmark in a human life. Best bet is to say that you have made plans for the party earlier, the birthday made you forget about said plans, you don't want to disappoint anyone. Go to the party. Bounce early. At least you have been there. You sang her happy birthday. Go have fun. Bring your girl along. She would be devastated if you left her all by herself with these people.
Or fuck her in the butt. 60 year old women are loose, and the poopshoot is now a crop duster.
