tell ur boss u will do it for slightly less than the new guy he is hiring.. its probably what hes expecting you to do anyhow  maybe he really dont have a new starter coming in..

You'll find a new job. Plus, at leas you have someone important in your life. You can find meaning there, in being happy with her

That is crap. I would feel like shit if I was in your position. Maybe tho it could be the push you need to find something better. It sounds like a bad place to work if they don't have any value for you and the work you do. In the long run a company like that will fail IMO. It cost more money in less productivity when they bring in new people and the atmosphere doesn't inspire growth.
