I like workopolis better than monster.

that being said, I still look at the 'careers' webpage of places I might want to work and other relevant job boards (professional associations, city/municipality/region/province etc)

But how do people in canada normally apply for work? Through webpages like monster, or by sending their CVs directly to companies, calling the company and speak to them?

Im not gonna apply just yet, need to study some more before i do that but thought id gather some info.

I think its the same anywhere, meet in person I always best. A good CV is often a ticket to a job interview. Thats my experience at least.
