I wanted to comment my opinion on the 2nd season after the last episode aired but there was no thread...

Indeed you suck, although Luther hasn't received the attention he deserves, time to correct that. Elba himself is fantastic obviously, but Ruth Wilson as Alice is actually creepy, which doesn't happen often 
Don't worry though, I'm sure you're not as far behind as garus or MinderMast, who have only started watching the great shows of the last decade in the last 6 months or so ^^
That is, assuming you have seen Deadwood, Rome, Boardwalk Empire, The Wire..oh wait, I'm just naming all of HBO's shows now
