Like the title says.

I got my new setup running now, but i still want to use my old raid0 setup for data, now both mainboards are Gigabyte, the 2x spinpoint F3 had raid0 before and im basicly trying to let this raidcontroller reactivate the raid0 partition without it formatting data.

Is this possible or am i fucked and have to loose 2TB of data?

try
if both respect the standard, i don't see why it wouldn't work right off the bat
if 2T is all you have, get a new 2T drive and take a backup
they're ~60 euros these days

why would you use raid0 anyway?
you double your chances of losing everything, with double the loss
unless if you're using it as editing temp drive or something equally data-hungry, i don't see why striping would be needed
