I want to get a flying license. There's a fly school not far from my nephews house. 65$ a lesson. I think that's affordable. If a lesson's an hour and I think you need a lot of hours. Neutral It might suck. But yeah. 65$ a lesson.

I got a fear of heights. I get woozy. But I want to fly. Sad I dunno how I'll manage that. But yeah. I do want to learn.

if you have a fear of heights than maybe flying planes is not for you...just my thought... Wink
try what they call in the states a "puddle jumper" (those little planes that you can litterally touch the pilot if you extend your arm far enough) and see how you react...
if you havent "felt" it before its similar to sitting in a go-cart but enclosed...not comforting at all but im used to flying now...

65$?! wow, really inexpensive! here in israel,a lesson (consistsof the guidance and one hour of flight) costs around 200-250$ for an ultralight.

In a few years time, I will start for my licence. I will consider it a hobby and may go up to commercial one day. I look forward to having enough money to do so!

Before I joined the USAF I was flying as a hobby. When I joined the USAF however, I did not go into flying. Instead I went into TACP.

Right now i'm going to be an apprentice, so that means i'm not going to have a lot of money the next 2 years. I have agreed with myself that when i'm done with my education and start getting a normal income again i'll start my PPL.
Meaning 2 years i'm starting my pilots license for single props Smile

Because you have to sign up for at least a 10 year contract. If you fail out of flight school you will still be forced to stay in the military for 10 years, probably not doing something you want to do. Like being a cook.
