I just keep the windows closed during the day and open them during the night. With a bit of luck not too many bugs find their way into my home.

Did you know that 99% of Americans would not be able to tell the time in Military Time as well as convert from Fahrenheit and Celsius and other way around.
Right now, its 30C in NYC...AC is on..at night it will be 20C but then I will jump to my pool

Outside? Probably mid 20s now. Inside? Feels like close to 40. Got my fan working for me so it's bearable.

Was 39 earlier today, with an air temperature of 35 even, too damn hot
And less than 48 hours ago we had a goddamn hailstorm, silly country!
Edit before those further down south say that's fine: not in NL it isn't, because with these temperatures the air has stupid levels humidity, so basically everything is damp constantly. I smell right now as well |
39 degrees?! Tomorrow will be even hotter, maybe EHEC will be dead before someone accidentally eats it. Weather forecast expects a massive thunderstorm tomorrow evening. Temperatures will drop to 18C . Also, ice balls the size of cannon balls may fall from the sky. God's testicles

Lucky bastard Lightning bolts ain't no fun for everybody but a thunderstorm will at least cool things down a bit. Go sit in a car if you're afraid of lightning... Faraday's cage. Zero electric field (or something). In short electromagnetic GOD MODE

As D.J. Griffiths says: "This is why you are relatively safe inside a metal car during a thunderstorm—you may get cooked, if lightning strikes, but you will not be electrocuted."

39? Where the hell are you, in the middle of the Sahara desert? 39c in the Netherlands must be some kind of record. :O
I'd simply die at that kind of temperature. And with a very high level of humidity it might as well be 50c.
We had 27c here today, air totally at a standstill, and boy was it bad to be outside (and worse, sitting in the car that has been baked in the sun all day).

well we regularly get temps about 105-115 F and hardly drops under 90 at nights, with 100% humidity... Kinda shitty happy for Air Conditioning in these parts... Takes the breath away from you if you go out in the middle of the day... you can cook eggs and bacon on the street, I've done it lol
