Long story short. I realized my laptop charger has ground included so that regular adapter will simply not work. and I need it since I am going to Poland on June 29th.
I went to three different electronic stores around where I live and none of them carried adapter with ground, just the regular ones. So I ordered one from amazon with 1 day shipping($3.99) so it will be delivered tomorrow on June 28th..but I just got shipping information that will be delivered on June 29th...but I will be gone already on June 29th, when they will be delivering the item which is 8PM in my area...which defeats the purpose of 1 day shipping
I won't be able to return the item because there is only 30 day window limit and I will be gone for total of 72 days
So, I had little chat with amazon support and shortly after I filled complaint with BBB...
Yea, I know. It was shit thing to do but I was just so angry and it got best out of me . I feel like typical QQ and whiny American now. I'm SO SORRY!

It's like that with ALL customer "support".
Everything is fucking outsourced to India now'a'days where they copy and paste responses out of a goddamn manual.
Customer service experiences I've had, all of which were conducted by someone that did not natively speak English and did nothing more than copy and paste -

My CC issuer (the fraud protection department, the most important department out of fucking all of them)
Is there any company left in the United States that doesn't fucking outsource one of the most important aspects of the business, and whose CS reps actually speak to you like a person?
Honestly, the last company I recall that did that was Verant Interactive and its Everquest GM's back in 1999-2000. They actually conversed with you. Ah the good ole' days.

I actually wanted to call them but I saw online chat was still available.
My English is not the greatest either but when you call customer service, those people can't speak any English at all. It's really hard to get anything done.
I just woke up and I checked the tracking number and it says item is out for delivery for Today. No wonder, they have not issued a 1 day shipping charge yet.

With the crazy amount of money people in America ask for customer support work its no wonder that all of it is outsourced to Asia/Australia....
And customer service all over the world is more or less the same. Copy paste out of the manual...
1 and 2 are still amazing.

Amazon is prob the best retailer I have ever dealt with concerning returns. They email you a return label that you print out and have UPS pick it up at my doorstep! I would never say anything bad about Amazon. You ordered from 3rd party, so anything can happen. I only order direct from amazon.

I know. On numerous occasions they refunded me the money when item dropped in price within two weeks.
It does not matter if it was third party BUT IT WAS "FULFILLED BY AMAZON" which frankly they handle everything, thats why I was able to pick 1 day shipping.

"FULFILLED BY AMAZON" does mean amazon handles it all. I would just chalk it up to a rare issue.

Think he may be implying you were trying to hit on the customer service rep, that'd be my guess anyway!
I realize that CS now'a'days is run very methodically (manuals instead of dialect) and I can't say I agree with this method at all.
To the CS reps - treat me like a fucking person, talk to me, discuss it with me, and at least TRY to make me feel like you know what you're talking about and fucking care about my issue. I know you don't, because you're halfway around the world somewhere in a call center, but come on.
I absolutely dread having to call my ISP or CC issuer and having to deal with the customer "service".
And what's the deal with them lying to you right off the bat, as if that makes me trust them any more than I already do? Hello, my name is John. Yea....alright John. I know you're full of shit, you know you're full of shit, but lets continue on talking as if we both don't know it!
Absolutely no excuse for large companies such as this to not spend a little extra and provide non-outsourced real customer service. It's a fucking disgrace.
