First I thought it was just a fly stuck in web buzzing or something, but it's been four days and it's still there.
I'm not sure what is it, but I hear a buzzing sound coming from the woodwork but I can't pinpoint exactly from what is it coming from. It's always coming from the same place though.
Sometimes it makes a sound exactly like a fly, and sometimes a shorter deeper buzz. It usually lasts for a few seconds and then goes away for 10-30 minutes before it happens again.
What could it be? Could some bug be burrowing inside and making a sound?

Sounds like a very busy spiders nest if you ask me. The spiderlings will most probably leave soon too.

LOL
I actually have the same problem every summer and it's annoying ticking-like sound. I've become numb to it.
But it's probably just some wood living insect.

I saw those when I first searched for my problem. Huge motherfuckers. The wood is too thin for those guys, like 1cm, I think they would have chewed through already if it was them.

Maybe they chewed through the roof and nested. Or they are working/chewing on the support 2 x 4's.

I would take the wood off the wall and find out what it really is. Ryzen 5 5600, ASUS ROG STRIX B550-F GAMING WIFI II, Corsair Vengeance RGB RT 32GB 3600MHz C16, MSI RTX 5070 Ti Ventus 3X OC , Corsair RMx Series RM750x. AOC AGON AG324UX - 4K 144Hz 1ms

Don't assume its bugs...It might be an electrical wiring problem...Turn your electricity off and see if you can still hear it...Worth eliminating it just incase

I'm not ready to take the wood off yet as I'm pretty sure it's bees. It's definitely not electrical.
I tried hitting the spot and it doesn't seem to have any effect, if they were buzzing they continue buzzing, if they weren't nothing happens.
It's starting to get seriously annoying because they woke me up around 7 AM last two mornings.
But I'm almost completely sure it's bees, they nest everywhere this time of year.
