Hi. I recently reinstalled windows xp pro on my laptop. It is running nice and fast when using programs and no problems watching movies either. However when trying to move windows around it lacks alot. Also when scrolling inside an explorer window it lacks. There is no problem scrolling inside firefox.

I've tried reinstalling grafic drivers and i've also tried omega drivers to no succes. I'm not really sure what to do now?

Really sounds like a driver problem. I only had that program when windows used it's own driver instead of the gfx drivers..

You should give Windows 7 a try, your hardware is good enough for it and you'd actually profit from switching to it Smile

Fujitsu doesn't support that model with drivers for win 7.

Fujitsu's own update utility says that the system is up to date( that might be a stretch though since most drivers are from 06)

You should still try installing 7 and see if WU won't find drivers.

With similar specced laptop I play 1080p videos and used to run Visual Studio 2008, so 7 is good performance-wise.
