My dad is looking for a laptop. He'll be doing mostly office work, maybe sometimes watch a movie. It has to be as "legal" as possible, because it will be his laptop for his chambers, and sometimes Inland Revenue does the inspection, so I can't install anything warez related there. His requirements:
Preferably 17" screen
Win 7 preinstalled- though we do have an original Win XP, so that might not be a problem.
Price- from 500 euros(730 dollars) to 760 euros (1100 dollars).
Anyway, for a laptop I'd suggest the XPS 15 (but there is XPS 17). The new XPS line is very impressive, and their JBL speakers are rather impressive for laptop speakers. I am still waiting for my laptop to die so I replace it with an XPS 15.
Or you can get him a Mac Book Pro.
