While this is great news to me, I hated anything and everything about that studio, it is sad to see more people jobless. Maybe some of them will get picked up by a studio who actually knows how to make a game..
Acutally, I like their versions of GRAW, much more truer to GR than the uber action crap Ubisoft made for consoles. Might not have been as polished and have high production value as the game form Ubisoft, it was much more tactical.

That's Ubisoft's fault. The devs confirmed it for both games in the ghostrecon.net forums.
the first graw was shit, I didn't mind the 2nd one too much, at least they were more true to the original series than ubi and their fucking RS6 games are.

i even remember the day GRIN got banned off of the ubisoft forums for trying to take in feedback on the GRAW2 demo lol
They did listen for a bit, then were shut down from Ubisoft and were forbidden by Ubisoft to work on the game. It was all explained in a thread by a GRIN developers on the ghostrecon.net forums. He even discussed how his developers had their accounts banned from the Ubisoft forums.

If you played THAT pc version of GRAW was because of an Ubisoft's decision. Grin only tried to do the job making something more realistic and tactical and partially failed as the game wasn't so funny afterall. (and yes, I wanted the cool console version too ).
As I stated in the other thread, I'm not happy about Grin, but it's an obvious consequence due to the fact that all their games weren't as good as we expected to be, bottoming out with Terminator.

bad direction? learn from their mistakes? their games weren't exactly GOTY material, but at least better than most of the crap coming out these days. there are at least 10-20 studios that "deserve" it to be shut down more than grin.
tbh they didnt contribute much to the PC game community imo.. Their last games were mediocre at best.
Both Wanted and Terminator were way to short, terminator wasnt even challanging and had like 3-4 diffrent mobs.

I mean, seriously, a 3rd person shooter in the TERMINATOR franchise !! And what did they deliver ? An repetitive and absolutely shameless GoW clone *clap* *clap* (they even fumbled with the installer !)
Their games are soulless and short-lived. I hope that new studio has more balls and talent, we want cool games ...
