EotGP is a next generation open world Action-RPG from Grim Reaper Interactive. Built with the award winning Unreal Development Kit, Empire of the Golden Phoenix will feature a unique gaming experience. Some of the features of our game are:

- Beautiful graphics and a wide array of graphic settings with different sets of meshes to insure everyone (from those with a 2006 PC to those with a high end 3000$ PC) enjoys the game.
- Deep and personal storyline.
- Highly developed characters with their own personality.
- Unique reputation system based on 4 personal goals (Altruism/Glory/Wealth/Power)
- Unique levelling system which eliminates the concept of experience points for a more fluid and natural gaming experience.
- Open world gameplay. Go wherever you want and do whatever you want.
- Multiple ways to solve different quests. You can be an altruist and save the farmer, or go for power and help the bandits rob him.
- Stealth-oriented gameplay never before seen in an RPG. Infiltrate, assassinate, steal information or frame somebody.
- Richly developed RPG elements. A wide array of skills to improve.
- Immersive, atmospheric soundtrack.
- Unique Sci-Fi/Fantasy setting.
- Embarque on a journey to restore the Empire to its former glory. Discover who the "gods" of Ayrhed really are and restore humanity to its rightful place.
- Nothing is what it first seems to be. Conspiracies and dark secrets wait to be uncovered.

Exactly what I said to them, but it seems like they know what they're doing and they really want to finish this game. They are my compatriots that worked on Gothic II Warsong and they weren't happy with the limitations of that from what I understood and started a completely new game. The game is just starting to shape up, they started releasing more and more screenshots. I thought it's a good idea to have a thread on the hump too, as here there are many more people that look for "Some companies would tell you that simplified is better and that casual console games are superior. We know that is not true. We aim to deliver a unique, complex Action-RPG for the PC platform." than in other places.

so potentially up to a year away and they already got the system specs down?

anywho sounds awfully ambitious, hard to get hyped for something so early i think

Well I wish them a lot of luck and with this. Highly ambitions open ended Morrowind like (?) project with UE3 engine will surely need that.

Yeah i really hope they can pull it off... ah well at least the effort is there to create something different. Only for that i applaud allready.

The system specs are indeed a bit strange
