Yeah people can get VERY jealous here if someone's doing (or is perceived to do) better than others - never heard that term used before tho.

Seems like people from Finland use the therm Janten laki

But I think "janteloven" is more commonly know in Norway and Denmark. No idea about Sweden. But I remember it was even mentioned in a highschool class
