Afterwind is an online browser game that has imho surpassed the quality of a simple web game. Afterwind is a risk-like game you play versus human opponents and the map can spam over the whole world or just Europe/Africa/Oceanica/Eurasia/Americas or a mix of those. You control varied units like infantry types, tanks, bombers, air transports, battleships, subs transports and the like. By gaining SP by winning games you can further specialize your gameplay by unlocking new strategies or units that can help in your endouver, however the game doesnt become unbalanced by them. You start with 3 strategies you can use for your cause depending on your situation:
Naval General
Tank Gereral
Perfect Defense

You can also pick no strategy. Ive spend quite some time now playing this game and its really fucking good.
And yes I will use a referral since that gives you 100 extra starting SP and me half of that. Laughing

I don't quite get this I joined a game, ended one turn, and next up, one guy attacks me with bunch of planes, tanks, boats.. ..while i had none. You probably hotjoined a game that was in progress. Try joining a game from the start and then build up your forces.

I know the name sounds somewhat stupid, however the game is great and constantly in development. I might make a coalition for nfohumpers to recognize each other. Ive got enough SP anyway. Post your names in here so I can find them, mine is the obvious; Ragedoctor.

"After" in german means anus/asshole actually, so the afterwind is indeed a fart.
At least the name is better than "Afterburner" of "Fire in the Hole" but as this is a strategy game and not the sequel to 3d gay villa it's ok I guess.
