I saw that post. I commented on it. Wouldn't want that law here, but then only criminals carry guns over here and they seem to be pretty intent on shooting each other so I think I am safe. But... the thought has crossed my mind. It is a scary thought no to be able to defend ones self.
Had a bit of a problem the other night.
Kay, I am trying to change my old behaviors right? So I took it as some great sign when my cel dropped in he ocean and I lost all my numbers. I had some petty bad people in there. I thought good and hard and decided not to out those numbers back. It would of taken some work too.
I did think... what if I got into trouble and needed some of them.... and still decided not to add those numbers back, that I was likely to get into more trouble having those numbers in my phone....
Anyway I got harrassed in my car the other night. Started at a gas station, walking back to my car, got in and was blocked in by some obnoxious sex-entric loosers. Prevented me from backing out. so I waited, like 3 min, watching them in my mirror. Bop around like idiots, passanger over the drivers side with the windows down saying god know what to me. Sooo I drove forward, and back again, to have them drive forward and block me in again. So I drove forward up onto the sidewalk and over in the other direction, and they didn't follow.
Now I still don't know if I would of called someone but if I did, I would of had those guys follow me to wally baseball park, where there is a already designated spot. (I can't drive over to the guys house) and they would of surrounded the car and beat the shit outta the guys Now I have no control if the guys I called, had a gun or would of used it, I know they have them. I have no idea if those losers also had a gun and would of used it, if they freaked out.
As it stands, no one got shot, beaten up, because I played my cards right and didn't do anything drastic when threatened. It worked out this time and I wasn't followed. More guns in this mixxxx?

When watching ANYTHING about canada it always seems like a dream to live in.
But the pistol comes into the game, talks about gangs with guns, people harrasing women at petrol stations, heroin addicted homeless in the streets and I get really confused

Uhh, ...Not anymore. Cell went for a ocean dip. I dropped some as the years went by, some got into too much trouble. Turned on each other. I think I am at around 28 friends/people I went to school with now that have been shot and are dead.

I delete people on facebook all the time, infact, I only have my proper friends and family on there (and my work collgues I guess).
I have about 100 people - down from maybe 300 a year ago. I just decided all of these random shits don't deserve to know whats going on in my life. And what REALLY pisses me off is when I get requests from people I didn't even know at primary school, e.g. this one:
"Hi Horrordee its Rheena. i think we went to primary skl together? how u bn?"
Natan - In your region of the world, a simple msg on facebook can turn into death and revolution for fucks sake. Its a good thing of course, but it also has to be treated with respect or be corrupted by those who would seek to do such things for any number of reasons.
I don't like facebook because there are tons of ppl who would probably add me for a 'friend' and I haven't been in touch with them (or worse yet, I hated them :\).
Also I don't get the ppl with 300 or 1000 'friends'. I'm just fine having less than 10 ppl I can count to be there for me then 1000 that will just write on your 'wall'
Sure it has it's merits, but I don't really care I guess...

Maybe true, but somehow I don't see the childish foot-stomping of a redneck ("concealed weapons, yeeehaaaw" ) the same as a revolution against an Arab despot.
